Comment: Just before I headed out to meet my brother for our annual Christmas snowboarding trip, I stopped by Patagonia to grab the shirt I needed to complete my baselayer. I previously bought a pair of capilene pants to wear on my commute to work, but hadn't needed the top half until now. This will keep me toasty on the slopes.

Comment: In the interest of maintaining the honesty and integrity of this project, I told myself I would post everything I buy. Which means everything. After talking things over with MatthewMachine, I decided that it was unnecessary to make up a story about picking up a splinter from my ragged wood floors, while walking around barefoot. Truth is, I once dated a really high-maintenance girl who caused the formation of this habit after boldly stating that my very light and hardly noticeable stray hairs bothered her. Ever since, anything that grows beyond the intended border of my handsomely arching eyebrows, gets uncomfortably ripped out by their root. Women are very strange creatures, yet I have some how allowed myself to pick up one of their odd and painful habits. If it makes a difference I usually have a very rugged beard for contrast and masculinity.
